Text-message opt-in

ClearLine365 sends text messages only to its subscribing business owners, and only after they opt in. Consent is collected in two places inside the product, both shown below exactly as they appear: on the signup form that asks for the owner's mobile number, and in the account settings, where the owner can turn text alerts off or back on at any time. ClearLine365 does not send text messages to its customers' clients or callers.

1. Business owners — where consent is given

At signup. The form that creates a ClearLine365 account asks the business owner for their own mobile number. Directly beneath that field, before the form can be submitted, it states:

We’ll text lead alerts to this number. Turn it off any time in Settings.

Roughly one text per captured lead, plus the occasional account message. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent isn’t a condition of purchase. The full terms are on this page.

Example of the signup field. Consent is recorded with a timestamp when the account is created.

In the account, at any time. The same consent is a switch in the owner's account settings, stating the full terms. Turning it off stops every text; the owner's other alerts (the website, the mobile app and email) are unaffected. This is the exact control shown on the website:
