Rosie (HeyRosie) is a good product — a polished AI answering service for small businesses of every kind, and like us it answers, sorts urgent calls and asks trade-specific questions. We built ClearLine365 for one kind of business, the trades, and for what happens after the call: booked, worked, won. Here’s how the two compare, with every claim about Rosie sourced from their own public pages so you can check our work.
Rosie’s column is drawn from their public pricing page and FAQ, their Terms of Service, their homepage and their home-services page, all re-read on August 26, 2026 — sources are linked below the table. Rows we could no longer support against their current site were removed rather than reworded. Our own column is drawn from shipped code and our published prices as of September 4, 2026. Products change: verify current pricing and features with each vendor before you decide.
| Feature | ClearLine365 | Rosie |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price & minutes | $49/mo (Basic) — ~250 included minutes. | $49/mo (Professional) — 250 included minutes. Same price and the same included minutes; what those minutes can do differs (see the next two rows).[1] |
| When you go over your minutes | Every rate is published, right on the pricing page: $0.35/min on Basic, $0.28 on Starter, $0.22 on Pro — your rate gets cheaper as you grow. Ten minutes over on Basic is $3.50, and you stay on Basic. Your in-app meter warns you at 80% of your included minutes, and your plan never changes unless you change it. | No per-minute rate: their pricing FAQ says going over automatically moves you up to the next plan — "at that plan’s standard price, never more" — and you stay there until you move it back. Ten minutes over the $49 plan is the $149 plan. Their Terms of Service go further than the FAQ: a change that raises your fees applies to the current billing period and at least the two following ones, with the extra due at the time of the upgrade. Their FAQ says you can downgrade any time from the admin. The two pages don’t read the same — ask them which one governs.[1],[2] |
| Books appointments on the call | Every plan, including $49 — Cara books the job during the call onto the ClearLine365 calendar — and, from Starter, onto the Google, Microsoft 365 or Apple calendar you already use. | From the $149 (Scale) plan. Their pricing FAQ: "Calendar integrations are available on the Scale Plan and higher. If you’re on the Professional Plan, you can still use Rosie’s text-a-link scheduling feature." Their homepage files appointment booking under "Premium — SCALE" too.[1],[3] |
| Which calendars it books into | The ClearLine365 calendar in your app and on the website, on every plan. Google, Microsoft 365 or Apple — one connection from Starter, several at once from Pro. The connected calendar’s live free/busy decides which times Cara offers. | Google Calendar, Calendly, Acuity and Appointlet, per their pricing FAQ — Scale plan and up. Rosie checks availability and creates the event. They connect two scheduling tools we don’t; we connect Apple and Outlook, which their list doesn’t name.[1] |
| Integrations & your CRM | Fewer, and they start above the entry plan: from Starter, our Zapier app pipes every lead and booking into 6,000+ apps, and the same events are delivered to any URL you choose as signed JSON — Make, n8n or your own system. From Pro, a direct QuickBooks Online connection that doesn’t leave a note: every lead becomes a customer, and marking one won starts an estimate for the job value you entered. Basic has no integrations at all. | They win this row. Eleven one-click CRM connections — Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceM8, JobTread, JobNimbus, Kickserv, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM and Zoho Bigin — plus Zapier’s 1,000+ apps. Included on every plan including the $49 one, no extra cost, about a minute to connect. That is more destinations than we have, a tier earlier. Their own guides are equally clear about what these connections do: they log the conversation on the customer record (a native call record on HubSpot, Zoho CRM and Pipedrive, a note on the rest), one CRM per account, and in their words, "Can Rosie book jobs or appointments in my CRM? No."[1],[5] |
| The owner’s app | Every call becomes a lead, and you add the job value yourself when you win it — plus the ClearLine365 calendar, the week’s booked jobs, and Ask Cara for plain-English questions about your own data. Marking a lead won with that value is what drafts the QuickBooks estimate. The iPhone and Android apps are in early access. Setup ends with the iPhone install link. For Android, email support@clearline365.com and we’ll add you to the test. Public app-store listings are coming. The full web app runs on any device. | Native iOS and Android apps on every plan — publicly listed, which ours are not yet. Their FAQ describes reviewing calls, editing FAQs and adjusting your plan from the app.[1] |
| Whole calls in Spanish | Cara understands Spanish-speaking callers and hands you the lead in English, and you can set an English, Spanish or bilingual greeting — but handling an entire call in spoken Spanish is not something we sell yet. | "English & Spanish on every call," on every plan. This one is theirs.[1] |
| Voices | 23 voices to choose from — pick Cara’s voice for your business in Settings. | 10+ voices to choose from.[1] |
| Website chat widget | Included from Pro — an embeddable widget on your site, answered by Cara. | Included free on all plans, plus a $50/mo website-texting add-on.[1] |
| Free trial | Free for 7 days, no card needed. No card by day 7? Cara keeps answering and taking messages for 14 more days, but stops booking. Add a card any time to switch booking back on. | 7-day free trial with all features. Per their FAQ you can switch plans and cancel before it ends without being charged; they publish no minute cap on the trial.[1] |
| Cancel & refunds | Month-to-month; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing cycle. Request a refund within 30 days of a charge. Approved refunds are returned to your card and end the subscription. | Also end-of-cycle — their FAQ says no contracts, no cancellation fees, access through the end of the period. Their Terms say all payments are non-refundable.[1],[2] |
Rosie’s product moved and our page didn’t — and one of our own corrections was wrong the first time. Every claim below is one we used to make and can no longer support. The first three rows were deleted rather than reworded; the last became a row we concede:
An honest comparison cuts both ways. Pick Rosie if:
Rosie answers for every kind of small business — salons, law offices, event venues — and publishes 2,000+ businesses served. ClearLine365 is built only for home services.
Rosie connects to eleven of them in one click — Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceM8, HubSpot, Pipedrive and more — on every plan, and logs each call onto the right customer. Their website chat and Zapier are on the $49 plan too. We connect to QuickBooks at Pro and to anything else through a webhook at Starter, and Basic connects to nothing. If your CRM is the center of your business, they serve it better than we do.
They publish English and Spanish on every call. We understand Spanish callers and deliver the lead in English, and the greeting can be Spanish or bilingual — but the full spoken-Spanish call is theirs today, not ours.
Answering is where most of them stop. A ClearLine365 lead keeps moving: booked onto the ClearLine365 calendar (and your own Google, Microsoft 365 or Apple calendar from Starter), worked from the app on your phone, marked won with the job value you enter — and on Pro, that "won" starts a QuickBooks Online estimate for the job value you entered.
Rosie publishes no per-minute rate; go over and you're moved to the next plan up, and their Terms hold that higher plan for at least two further billing periods. We print every rate — $0.35/min on Basic down to $0.22 on Pro, cheaper as you grow — with a meter that warns you at 80%. Never an automatic, sticky plan upgrade.
Cara books the job during the call on every plan — including the $49 one — onto the ClearLine365 calendar — and, from Starter, onto the Google, Microsoft 365 or Apple calendar you already use. Theirs starts at $149.
Request a refund within 30 days of a charge. Approved refunds are returned to your card and end the subscription. Their Terms of Service say all payments are non-refundable.
