Adding a teammate
Invite an office manager or dispatcher to your ClearLine365 account, and see what a teammate can and cannot do.

You are not the only one who needs to see a lead the moment it comes in. Add someone else to your ClearLine365 account and give them their own sign-in, without handing over your own.
How it works
- A teammate gets their own email and password (or their own Google or Apple sign-in) — never a shared login.
- Invites land two ways at once: an email, and a link you can copy and send however you like — by text, by chat, however is fastest.
- Every plan includes a set number of seats: Basic 1, Starter 1, and Pro 3. During your free trial you get Pro's 3 seats whichever plan you chose; the number changes to your plan's when the trial converts. Each active member and each pending invite counts as one seat.
Invite a teammate
- Go to Settings → Team.
- Enter their email address and choose a role: Owner or Teammate.
- Send the invite. It appears in your pending list with a copyable link.
- They accept it by opening the emailed link, or the link you sent — it works whether they open it in a browser or in the ClearLine365 app.
Only an owner can send an invite, and only an owner can invite someone else as an Owner.

What to expect
Once they accept, they show up in your Team list with the role you picked. If they already have a ClearLine365 account under a different business, they'll need to use a different email to join yours — an account belongs to one business at a time.
Limits
Two roles are offered: Owner, with full access including billing and the assistant, and Teammate, who works leads and the calendar but can't change the assistant, billing, forwarding, or the team, and can't delete the organization.
Your plan sets how many seats you have — 1 on Basic, 1 on Starter, 3 on Pro — and an active member plus a pending invite both count against it. If you're at your limit, the honest first step is revoking a pending invite you no longer need. There's no self-serve way to buy more seats today — a paid Pro account can grow past 3 by asking us to add one, up to 5 total.
Common questions
What does a Teammate see that I don't want them to?
A Teammate can see the same leads, calendar, recordings, and reports you can, and can open Settings and Billing pages read-only. What matters is what they can't do: change the assistant, change billing, adjust forwarding, manage the team, or delete the organization.
My invite says the team is full. Now what?
Free up a seat by revoking a pending invite you no longer need, then send the invite again. If you need more seats than your plan includes, reach out and ask.
Can I send someone the invite link directly instead of by email?
Yes. Every pending invite has a copyable link on your Team page — send it any way you like, and it works the same as the emailed one.
